In these three awards, international experts carefully reviewed, discussed and evaluated the work submitted by companies from around the world. Honors will only be given to products that have a sense of design as well as economy. The judging process for the iF, Red Dot and German Design Awards is based on multiple criteria that are constantly adjusted to the latest technological, social, economic and ecological needs, taking into account, for example, the degree of innovation, functionality, ecological compatibility and quality of appearance.
Among the products that also won three awards this year was the ifm SM6020 electromagnetic flowmeter. In terms of technology, the product has been well received by a wide range of customers because of its high accuracy, long-term process reliability, and relatively low start-up and hardware costs due to the use of IO-link technology. The new measuring tube design significantly reduces pressure losses, while the optimized design allows for parallel installation in standard distribution stations, eliminating inlet and outlet tubes.
